Ko Phangan Day 1

Arrived on the Lampraha catamaran from Koh Samui and got a tuk tuk to the hostel that was booked. Omg scary! The room was damp and dark and the bathroom had holes in the wall to the outside. Toilet did not flush... Just nasty.

Went to another part of the island to look around and found another hostel that had rooms for a great price called the Coral Bungalows. The room was steps from the pool with hot water and AC.

Turns out though the pool had a party every other night that lasted till dawn with music so loud the water was dancing in the glasses.  Earplugs and an Ambian and the music faded away!
